What Was Done

The client approached us with a request to integrate new furniture into an existing interior. The business objective was to increase storage capacity without disrupting the visual integrity and style of the already installed wardrobe.

The key challenge was the unique engraved pattern on the existing facades. Full replication was technically possible but did not fit the client’s budget and timeline.

Solution Found

To preserve identity and symmetry, we proposed reusing structural elements from the existing wardrobe:

— One of the doors was relocated to the new module to maintain visual balance. — The top cover of the old wardrobe was repurposed as the base (floor) of the new unit due to its non-standard thickness and texture.

This approach preserved the original design without increasing production costs.

Work Stages:

  1. Detailed measurements of the space and existing furniture were carried out.
  2. An integration project for new modules was developed (wardrobes, mezzanines, dresser).
  3. A 3D model was created, taking into account: — room geometry — equipment placement (TV) — internal cabinet filling
  4. Final dimensions and configuration were approved.
  5. Production documentation was prepared: — cutting maps — edge banding schemes — drilling and hinge layout drawings
  6. Materials identical to the existing furniture were selected.
  7. Documentation was transferred to the factory.
  8. After cutting and edge banding, the parts were delivered to the site.
  9. Professional on-site assembly was completed with precision, installation standards, and cleanliness maintained.

Project Features

Special attention was paid to matching hardware solutions. Additional sourcing was required to find hinges, fasteners, and decorative elements identical to the existing furniture.

The client was highly satisfied with both the implementation process and the final result — the new furniture integrated seamlessly into the interior while significantly increasing storage functionality.

Our work focused on design precision, material repeatability, and careful integration of new structures into the existing storage system.
